OCIM Terms of Service

Welcome to OCIM ("the App"). Please read these Terms carefully. By registering an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

The App provides instant messaging, including one-to-one chat, group chat, and sending text, images, voice messages and files. We may adjust or upgrade the service from time to time.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password.
• Your account is for your personal use only and may not be lent, transferred or sold.
• You may delete your account at any time via Me → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to post, transmit, store or share:

• Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Pornographic, obscene or sexually explicit content, or any inappropriate content involving minors
• Violent, graphic or terrorist content, or content encouraging crime or self-harm
• Hate speech, including discrimination or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability
• Harassment, threats, bullying, personal attacks or stalking
• Content that infringes others' privacy, including sharing personal information without consent
• Content that infringes intellectual property or trade secrets
• Spam, scams, phishing links, pyramid schemes or illegal trade
• Viruses, malicious code, or anything that disrupts the service
• Impersonation of any person or organization

4. Moderation and Reporting

• Report: email johnnybi.dev@gmail.com to report abusive users or content (include the username and a screenshot). We commit to reviewing within 24 hours, removing violating content and muting or banning the offending account.
• Block: you can block a specific user to stop receiving any messages from them.
• Filtering: message content is screened against a server-side keyword filter.

We reserve the right to remove violating content and to restrict or terminate offending accounts without prior notice.

5. Your Content and IP

• You retain ownership of the content you post.
• You grant us a licence to use that content solely as necessary to transmit, store and display your messages.
• The App's software, interface and icons are our intellectual property or that of the respective owners.

6. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for how we collect and protect your information.

7. Disclaimer

• The App is provided "as is"; we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Disputes between users are resolved by those users; we are not a party to them, but will act on violations under these Terms.
• We are not liable for service limitations caused by force majeure, network failures or third-party outages.

8. Changes

We will post any updated Terms on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
